Description
Rolls-Royce, the British technology giant, has announced that it will create at least 120 new jobs at its new Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Kraków, Poland.
The center is launched with an initial team of 120 specialists, but the company expects to further increase headcount in the near future. The Krakow facility will support the group in areas such as finance, procurement, HR services, data analytics, and project management.
The establishment of the center in Krakow is a strategic response to the rapid development of Poland's aerospace, energy, and defense sectors, which have become integral to the company's European network and global growth plans. On 6 March 2026, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) and Rolls-Royce Solutions (a subsidiary of Rolls-Royce Power Systems) signed a strategic cooperation agreement to collaborate on MTU propulsion systems for the Polish Armed Forces. The agreement establishes a framework for the servicing and overhaul of MTU engines currently utilized by the Polish military. Additionally, the partnership opens the door for the production of complete propulsion systems and engine components in Poland. Beyond current projects, the two entities plan to collaborate on marine engines.
Rolls-Royce has been present in Poland for over 20 years. Its engines power LOT Polish Airlines' long-haul fleet, and its joint venture, Aero Gearbox International in Ropczyce, produces critical accessory drive trains for all large Rolls-Royce civil aircraft engines. The group also has major data centers near the city of Warsaw.
