Aero Technic BG, a Bulgarian aircraft maintenance and repair company, announced an investment of 50 million Euros to expand its aircraft maintenance base in Sofia. The investment will create 125 new jobs. The project consists of the construction and equipment of a new high-technology hangar located near Sofia Airport, with operations expected to begin in May 2026.
The newly created positions are expected to include highly skilled technicians and engineers.
No information has been reported regarding social partner involvement at this stage.
The investment aims to increase the company’s maintenance, repair and overhaul capacity by adding between five and eight new service lines, depending on aircraft type. The company stated that the expansion is intended to strengthen its competitive position in the growing European aviation maintenance market and to provide higher value-added technical services.
