The majority of layoffs are expected to affect employees in Germany, while no employees in Norway will lose their jobs.

The restructuring programme is a response to challenging market conditions and aims to achieve annual savings of €16 million by 2027. The initiative is intended to restore profitability and optimise the organisational structure.

Tomra Recycling operates in Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Brazil, China, Japan, and India.
