Description
Private hospital group, Charter Medical is to create 300 jobs through the expansion of its hospital in Mullingar.
The investment programme, running from January 2026 to 2027, will generate 200 roles during the initial two-year development phase, with a further 100 positions coming online in 2027 as new facilities open.
The project includes the development of new operating theatres, new endoscopy suites, and additional surgical and medical beds
The hospital currently employs around 300 staff at the Mullingar hospital and at a site in Smithfield in Dublin.
