Description
Thales, the French aerospace and defence multinational, has announced plans to create 130 new jobs in Spain, where the company currently employs around 1,300 professionals. Around 40% of new roles will focus on engineering disciplines, including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and software development, while 25% will target technical and operational positions.
Thales is recruiting globally, with 3,300 new employees in France, 800 in the UK, 630 in North America, 530 in Australia, and additional staff across Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa. The recruitment drive follows a strong 2025, during which Thales exceeded its target by hiring 8,800 employees globally, with 32% of new recruits being women, reflecting its commitment to gender diversity. Additionally, Thales expects 3,500 internal mobility opportunities, reinforcing its strategy as a “learning company” supported by more than 35 internal academies.
