Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Sector Alarm, a Norwegian home security company that operates in Italy, has announced that it will create around 100 new jobs by 2026. Most of these will be in commercial and technical roles across its Italian branch network. This is in connection with the opening of five new branches, which will bring the total number of sites to 32.
Job creation is part of a broader development plan following a 33% increase in the workforce between 2024 and 2025. The plan includes expanding the number of Field Sales Representatives by 50%, Field Sales Managers by 30%, and Branch Managers by 100%. The growth plan may also involve other positions.
Recruitment is currently underway for General Services Support, Junior Planner and Sales Training Manager positions in Milan. Selection processes are also underway for maintenance technicians and technical installation support in Milan, Busto Arsizio and Genoa.
