Description
Roltec, a Polish photovoltaic manufacturing company, is building a new production plant in Wrocław, Dolnośląskie Voivodeship, which will create nearly 200 jobs.
The investment marks the transition from R&D and pilot production to full-scale industrial manufacturing of thin-film CIGS photovoltaic modules, with construction expected to be completed this year after earlier delays, and recruitment has already started for production and technical positions.
Roltec has been developing advanced photovoltaic technologies for several years, previously operating a pilot line in Żylice near Rawicz, and at the end of 2025 secured additional investment land in Krępice for further PV-related projects.
