Go-Ahead Ireland, a public transport bus operator and subsidiary of the UK-based Go-Ahead Group, announced plans to create around 400 new jobs across Dublin and County Wicklow following the award of a major bus services contract by Ireland’s National Transport Authority. The expansion will affect operational, technical and managerial functions, with recruitment focused on drivers, mechanics, apprentices, support staff and management roles, including at least 90 positions at a new satellite depot in Wicklow.
The new roles will include drivers, mechanics, apprentices, support staff and management. Recruitment is already underway.
Go-Ahead has businesses in Britain, Scandinavia, Australia and Singapore.
The company already operates a number of public transport bus routes and employs 900 people in Ireland.
