European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Irish medtech company, Luminate Medical, is to create 130 new jobs over the next three years. The company is a spin-out from University of Galway and has developed at-home cancer treatment. It has raised $21 million as part of a Series A funding round, brining total funding to over $50 million. The restructuring will begin from 2026 and proceed gradually, with job creation linked to clinical trials, regulatory progress and commercial rollout across oncology clinics. Luminate is actively recruiting for roles in software development, electronics, clinical research, mechanical design and manufacturing. Most of the roles will be based at the company’s Galway office with some remote roles also.
