Description

Multinational semiconductor company, Qualcomm, is to create 300 new jobs at its site in Cork over the next three years. The new jobs are being created as part of a €125 million investment in AI at the Cork city facility. The new jobs will be in the area of research and development. Currently, around 700 people are employed at the R&D hub in Cork city. The company first established in Cork in 2013, and the new jobs are in addition to 150 jobs which were created in 2023 see Qualcomm - 2023.
