European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Hungarian dietary supplement producer and distributor BioTechUSA has launched its new capacities at its two production sites in Szada and Dunakeszi, both located in Central Hungary. The investment created 100 new jobs.
The Szada plant was expanded with the establishment of a new production line for protein bar manufacturing and a new warehouse. In Dunakeszi, the production of liquid products was modernised, alongside the installation of a solar power system.
The combined investment value was €26.4 million, of which approximately €8 million was provided by the Hungarian government.
BioTechUSA is present in more than 100 countries worldwide and has a strong position in the European sports nutrition supplements market.
