European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Hera Group, an Italian multi-utility company operating in the energy, water, waste and gas sectors, has announced the creation of over 130 new jobs across several business units in various Italian regions (Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Tuscany, Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige and Friuli-Venezia Giulia) as part of its 2026–2029 Industrial Plan.
These new roles are the result of a national investment strategy centred on ecological transition, infrastructure reinforcement and digital innovation, and further recruitment is anticipated throughout the duration of the plan.
The Industrial Plan includes investments totalling over EUR 5.5 billion directed towards integrated networks, environmental services, renewable energy and hydrogen projects, which are largely aligned with EU sustainability taxonomy criteria.
Recruitment will involve technical and operational roles (such as network operators, environmental services staff, drivers and maintenance technicians), managerial positions (including project managers and health and safety specialists) and administrative roles. Additionally, the firm anticipates offering internship opportunities to young individuals without prior experience, particularly in HR, marketing, administration, and technical project development.
