Description

ROLTEC, a Polish-owned company operating in the photovoltaic manufacturing sector, is building a new CIGS thin-film photovoltaic module factory in Wroc aw, creating nearly 200 new jobs. The investment represents a business expansion and involves scaling up to full-scale industrial production of silicon-free CIGS modules, previously developed and tested at the company’s laboratory and pilot production line in ylice near Rawicz, with applications in solar farms and building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV).

The recruitment process is already underway, although no specific timetable for the completion of hiring has been disclosed.

ROLTEC has been developing advanced photovoltaic technologies for several years and, in late 2025, also secured additional land in Kr pice, within a Polish special economic zone, intended for further photovoltaic-related investments, indicating continued growth plans in the renewable energy sector.
