The logistics company CEVA Logistics announced its plans to create 600 new jobs in Lich (near Gießen), Germany.
The company is now renting the large logistics centre in the city and has already hired the first employees and will continue to hire more. The logistics centre is scheduled to start operations at the end of March 2026, followed by a ramp-up period of 3 months after which all 600 prospective positions are planned to be filled.
CEVA logistics is a service provider for e-commerce companies in global logistics and supply chain management. This includes warehousing, order picking, transportation and automation in logistics. The site in Lich will serve only one major customer in contract logistics. The company has 21 locations in Germany with about 4,500 employees, excluding the new location in Lich. Worldwide the company employs about 110,000 people.
