Description
Food Society Paris, one of Europe's largest fast-food courts (3,500 m²), has announced it will close permanently, resulting in approximately 100 job losses. The company entered judicial reorganisation last summer after filing for insolvency. The Paris Commercial Court reported that its liabilities far exceeded its revenue of €6.2 million.
The main challenge seemed to be the flow of customers. While the food court was full during major events, it struggled to attract a steady weekday clientele. Despite a six-month observation period intended to allow the submission of a recovery plan, Food Society Paris management announced the closure on 24 December 2025, via social media.
