Vestas, the Danish wind turbine manufacturer, has announced plans to cut 900 office-based jobs globally by the end of 2025.
Around 190 positions are expected to be cut in Denmark. The measure will be implemented through a combination of natural attrition, redundancies, and the release of third-party consultants. According to the company, the restructuring aims to simplify processes and improve efficiency.
Vestas employs about 30,000 employees worldwide. The company has its production and research sites in Denmark, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Poland, France, China, India, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and the United States.
