Description

Pump manufacturer Flowserve SIHI Germany plans to cut more than 70 of its 535 jobs in Itzehoe (Schleswig-Holstein). Additionally, 11 employees at the service site in Troisdorf (North Rhine-Westphalia) are affected; that location is to be closed. According to union IG Metall, the reasons for the cuts are insufficient capacity utilization in production and a relocation of administrative activities abroad.

In Itzehoe, members of the IG Metall union protested on 11 December 2025 against the job reductions.
