Description
German construction chemicals producer PCI Augsburg is relocating its production to its headquarter in Augsburg resulting in the closure of its plant in Hamm (North Rhine-Westphalia) in the second half of 2026. The closure affects 105 employees.
The company is attempting to carry out the restructuring exercise in a socially responsible manner. Therefore, they entered negotiations with the works council regarding a severance payment or social plan.
In total, PCI Augsburg employs around 700 people. Since 2023, PCI Augsburg has been part of the Stuttgart-based Sika Group, and processes have been reorganised since then.
The company also has a site in Wittenberg, where it is investing and plans to expand production.
