Description
As announced on 16 October 2025, furniture manufacturer Kusch+Co will close its production site in Hallenberg (North Rhine-Westphalia) in March 2026, affecting 110 employees. Production is expected to end by the end of 2025, with full closure by March 2026.
The reason cited is declining demand and high production costs. However, according to parent company Nowy Styl, there has been no financial difficulties. The company plans to reorganize production in Germany. Kusch+Co intends to support employees in their job transition. The parent company Nowy Styl employs around 3,500 people worldwide.
