Description
Mondelēz International, a global snack-food producer in the food manufacturing sector, will invest PLN 620 million in its Płońsk factory, creating 180 new jobs and expanding production capacity by 30%. All new jobs are expected to be permanent positions in production, maintenance, logistics and technical operations, supporting the facility’s modernisation and automation.
The expansion affects the long-established production unit, which currently employs around 700 workers and plays a key role in the company’s European supply chain.
The restructuring is an expansion project, adding new production lines for Lubisie/Barni and Milka biscuits, a raw-materials warehouse, and upgraded infrastructure, with completion planned for 2026.
The Płońsk plant, operating since 1976, is one of seven Mondelēz factories in Poland and already produces 60% of Europe’s Barni/Lubisie volume.
