European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The French company Showroomprivé, specializing in beauty and fashion distance selling, has announced plans to cut 121 jobs, representing 11% of its workforce. This decision follows a 12% decline in turnover in 2025, a challenging macroeconomic environment, the rise of second-hand clothing, and intense competition. The job reductions will impact the following sites : Plaine Saint-Denis (80), Roubaix (23), and Sables-d'Olonne (18). To keep pace with changes in the clothing sector, the company will invest in advanced technologies, including AI, secure payment systems, and digital marketing, as part of its internal reorganisation.
