Description
BSH Hišni aparati, a subsidiary of the German multinational group BSH Home Appliances Group (owned by Bosch), plans to create 100 new jobs by the end of 2024.
Between 4 and 6 August 2023, the company was hit by devastating floods. It took a month to repair the flood damage. The company partially resumed production after a month, but it took three months to fully resume production. To make up for lost production time, the company decided to hire an additional 100 workers.
During flood recovery, the state provided assistance by offering partial wage compensation for temporarily laid-off workers and wage compensation for employees undertaking emergency repairs for the company.
