Description
Videolux Holding, a Bulgarian retail and electronics group, announced the start of construction of its new retail complex HOLIDAY PARK Ruse, located in Ruse. The investment will create approximately 100 new permanent jobs in retail and facility management once the site becomes operational. Construction works started in late 2025, with job creation planned to take place upon the opening of the retail park in autumn 2026.
According to the investor, the development aims to strengthen the regional retail offer and attract both local and cross-border consumers. It also contributes to the regeneration of the former “Petar Karaminchev” industrial site. Local authorities, including the Regional Governor and the Mayor of Ruse, welcomed the project as an important step for the city’s economic modernisation and employment diversification. The construction phase includes sustainability measures such as rooftop solar panels and energy-efficient building standards. The project illustrates continuing business expansion in Bulgaria’s regional retail sector and public-private cooperation in urban redevelopment.
The park will include over 20 shops and restaurants on 11 000 m², more than 300 free parking spaces, and infrastructure for electric-vehicle charging. The new jobs will be created by the company and by tenants operating within the park, and operations are expected to start in autumn 2026.
