European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Salling Group is launching the first føtex store in Slagelse on 29 January 2026, located in the former Kvickly premises in Vestsjællandscentret. Recruitment of approximately 140 employees is currently underway, with all staff expected to be hired by 1 January and prepared through an onboarding process.
The new store will span 3,500 square meters and offer a wide selection of fresh food, nonfood items, and catering services. This expansion marks a significant retail development for Slagelse and is expected to strengthen local employment and consumer choice.
