Description
The German automotive supplier Voit automotive, has filed for insolvency. Approximately 680 remaining employees at the St. Ingbert site are expected to gradually transition to a transfer company starting in January 2026, co-financed by Voit’s main customer ZF. Production at the plant is scheduled to cease on 30 September 2026.
Voit’s management attributes the anticipated closure to ZF, claiming the company rejected a proposal that could have preserved around half of the jobs.
Specialising in aluminium die casting, the company supplies major automotive manufacturers.
