Description

BSH Hišni aparati, a subsidiary of the German multinational group BSH Home Appliances Group (owned by Bosch), will reduce the number of employees by 100 by the end of this year.

Around 100 workers, who were employed after the floods in 2023 to compensate for production shortfalls, were made redundant. The company explains that dismissals are due to reduced demand and to competitive pressure in a global market where customs barriers, particularly in the US, are also important.

The company had a profit of €20 million in the last two years.

The parent company Bosch, recently announced a global restructuring with the loss of 13,000 jobs worldwide: Bosch 2025 - WO
