Description
The pharmaceutical company Lek, which is owned by the Swiss group Sandoz, is currently investing in a project that will create 200 jobs next year.
Construction of a factory in Lendava, where Lek will manufacture active ingredients for similar biological medicines, began in March 2023. The project is progressing according to plan and is expected to be completed next year.
Simon Rečnik, a member of the Sandoz Slovenia management team, says that the plant currently employs 150 people and plans to hire a further 200 in the next year.
