European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
GLS has opened a new distribution centre in Randers, covering 3,750 square meters. The facility is strategically located near major transport routes to improve delivery efficiency in eastern Jutland. Upon starting its operations at the end of October 2025, the centre will create between 150 and 200 jobs , with the potential to grow to 300 as operations expand.
This restructuring is part of GLS’s broader effort to meet increasing demand for parcel distribution in Denmark and to strengthen its regional presence through enhanced capacity and improved logistics infrastructure.
