European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lusíadas Saúde, a Portuguese healthcare provider, will open a new hospital in Alenquer in October, representing an initial investment of €28 million. The new unit will create 500 new jobs.
The CEO of the Lusíadas Saúde Group underlined that, “With this new unit, we are continuing our national expansion plan, promoting the socio-economic development of the region and actively contributing to shaping the future of healthcare in Portugal.”
Founded in 1998, Lusíadas Saúde currently operates 16 healthcare units across mainland Portugal, employing around 6,000 healthcare professionals
