Description
Liechtenstein-based audiovisual equipment manufacturer Neutrik inaugurated its new plant in Ózd, Northern Hungary. The production site will assemble electronic and circuit connectors. The investment has created approximately 260 new jobs, mainly permanent full-time positions in production. Operations officially started in October 2025, with recruitment of local staff and integration of some former Johnson Electric employees.
The new assembly plant has been established on the site of the former Johnson Electric factory, Johnson Electric 2021 - Hungary which was closed in 2022.
The company’s goal was to regionalize its European supply chain by establishing a regional competence centre. The investment totaled nearly €10 million, with 38% of the amount provided by the Hungarian government as a non-refundable grant.
