European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Iskraemeco, a producer of electrical equipment and systems for energy measurement, owned by Egyptian company Elsewedy Electric Group, is expanding its workforce by 93 employees. To celebrate 80 years in business, Iskraemeco opened a new SMT and THT production line, the company's largest investment in recent years. The new line increases production capacity and has created 93 new jobs this year. The new equipment enables a 60% increase in productivity, a faster time to market, and the use of artificial intelligence in quality control. The THT line in particular stands out as cutting-edge technology. The company supplies its products to around 80 countries.
Updated, 9/09/2025 The company has announced the creation of an additional 40 jobs, mostly for engineers, by the end of 2025.
