Description
Transports Bonnard specializing in road freight transportation is set to lay off around 145 employees. The French company has been placed into judicial liquidation by the Villefrance commercial court. This decision follows a bankruptcy declaration and an unsuccessful recovery process initiated in July 2025.
The liquidation is taking place on September 15, 2025. Founded in 1857, the historic road freight company operated five sites across France and was acquired in 2023 by the Marseille-based group Cogepart. Despite generating €18 million in revenue at the time of acquisition, Cogepart was unable to prevent the closure of the business.
