European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Rex Concepts BK Romania, subsidiary of the American company Burger King, will hire 250 persons by the end of 2025. At national level, the company intends to open 15 new restaurants and to invest €7.5 million.
Locally, at the beginning of this year, Burger King operated a total of 34 restaurants, 24 of which were managed by Rex Concepts (current partner of the American giant) and 10 by AmRest (former franchisee).
Thus, with the new openings, the network will approach a total of 50 units by the end of 2025 and a workforce of 700 persons.
