Description
Under a new supply agreement with McDonald’s, Danish Crown will expand its beef production by establishing a new 5,000-square-meter facility in Vejen and increasing staffing at its Holsted slaughterhouse. The company plans to hire between 80 and 100 employees over the next year to support burger patty production for McDonald’s menu items including the Big Mac and Quarter Pounder. Renovations in Vejen will take nine months and include new technology. Danish Crown will also supply bacon to McDonald’s restaurants across the Nordic region.
