European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Kyocera Fineceramics Medical, a Japanese global corporation in the field of medical technology, is creating up to 200 new jobs in Waiblingen with the opening of a newly built production site for joint prosthesis components, in particular high-quality ceramic ball heads for hip prostheses. The new jobs will be created gradually from the planned inauguration on 1 October 2025.
Construction of the production hall began in October 2024. Production is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2026. The parties involved from the administration, economic development and companies expressed their satisfaction with the developments at the site.
