Description
Retail supermarket, Tesco Ireland, is to create 400 new jobs in Ireland over the next 12 months as part of a €40 million investment to open 10 new stores.
The new roles include customer assistants, grocery home delivery drivers and line managers and will be spread across locations throughout the country, including Cork, Dublin, Galway, Louth and Meath.
Tesco Ireland currently employs just over 13,000 people in Ireland and the new jobs will bring its total Irish workforce to 13,500 and increase its number of supermarkets to 193.
