European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Tatra Defence Vehicle, a Czech defence vehicle manufacturer part of Czechoslovak Group, announced the creation of 300 new jobs in its production facilities. The expansion follows a decline in sales but an increase in profit; the company plans to invest up to one billion CZK to double its manufacturing space and hire additional staff. It is a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the military vehicle market. The hiring will take place within Czechia, as the company currently employs around 260 workers at its production site.
Updated, 11/09/2026 In September 2026, the company stated that the initial plan to recruit 300 workers remained in effect, with the aim of reaching that figure by the end of 2026. The company further anticipates hiring more than 100 additional employees during 2027.
