European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Trelleborg, a Swedish manufacturing company with a factory in Malta, has announced the creation of 100 new jobs following a recent expansion. The expansion, now complete, was officially inaugurated, during which the additional jobs were confirmed. Trelleborg invested €34 million in infrastructure and equipment to support this growth. Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Malta has 60 years of experience and manufactures high-performance O-Rings and moulded parts.
It appears that with this expansion, Trelleborg intends to strengthen its capabilities in the Life Sciences and semi-conductors industries. Neal Borg, General Manager of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions based in Malta said, “This is an exciting time for Trelleborg in Malta, as we expand our operations in medical devices and semiconductor applications." Trelleborg is well established in the automotive and industrial sectors.
