European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Leroy Merlin, a home decor and gardening retail company, announced the opening of a new store in Iasi (Iasi County) on 18 June 2025. The company will create 120 new jobs. With this investment, the company is strengthening its presence in north-eastern Romania and responding to growing demand for affordable DIY, home improvement and gardening solutions.

The group has over 1,000 stores located in 20 countries and a workforce of 150,000 people. In Romania, the company has 23 stores and approximately 3,500 employees in 16 cities.
