Description
Playtika, a mobile gaming company headquartered in Israel, has announced plans to cut up to 160 jobs worldwide.
The layoffs will affect its teams in Poland and Israel. The redundancies primarily affect workers involved in the development of Best Fiends and Redecor, with roles in engineering, level design, art, and quality assurance. In Poland, at least 80 jobs are expected to be cut.
The layoffs follow previous cuts, including 50 positions at Berlin-based Wooga in May 2025 and a 10% workforce reduction in January 2024.
Playtika had acquired Best Fiends developer Seriously in 2019 and Redecor developer Reworks in 2021, both of which have since seen declining revenues and internal restructuring.
Playtika employed about 3,500 people worldwide at the end of 2024.
