Description
BTL Industries, a global leader in the development, manufacturing, and trade of electronic medical equipment, will officially open a new production facility in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, on 19 June.
Initially, the plant will employ 750 people, with plans to create an additional 500 jobs next 2 to 3 years. With an area of over 29,000 sq. m, the new facility represents one of the largest Czech investments in Bulgaria, with nearly 51 million euros.
The new plant will produce the entire BTL's portfolio of medical devices. It is expected to boost the region’s economy and significantly expand the company’s manufacturing capacity.
