European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Metro Italia will create approximately 100 jobs with the opening of its new 9,000 square meter warehouse in Pontedera, Pisa. The German distribution Italian subsidiary has launched its third direct delivery depot dedicated to supplying restaurants, bars, and pizzerias across the region.
The facility, located along the Florence-Pisa-Livorno highway, operates as part of a 26,000 square meter logistics hub developed by pan-European fund Logistic Capital Partners.
The Pontedera depot joins Metro's existing direct delivery centers in Milan and Rome metropolitan areas, supporting the company's growth strategy in the Italian horeca (hotel, restaurant, café) sector.
