European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Beiersdorf Manufacturing Poznań, a cosmetics concern, has expanded its factory in Poznań, where it has employed an additional 200 people.
The Production Centre was opened on 5 June; it has doubled production capacity compared to the previous factory. Products will go mostly to European markets, but also to Africa and South America and Asia. The factory currently employs 700 people, 200 of whom were newly recruited in connection with the expansion. Beiersdorf AG is an international cosmetics concern based in Hamburg, producing for brands such as NIVEA, Eucerin and Bambino. The company's factory in Poznań has existed since the 1930s.
