Description
The Danish Ministry of Defence has launched the Defence Drone Centre in Odense, aiming to significantly strengthen the use of drones within the Danish Defence. The centre will handle training and development for defence personnel, including incorporating experiences from Ukraine and collaborating with industry and research institutions. Construction begins in 2025, and by 2026, the centre is expected to be fully staffed and operational with around 100 military and civilian employees. The initiative is supported by a budget of approximately DKK 725 million.
