Description
Woolworth, a new Germany-based discount retailer that is coming to the Czech Republic, has announced its plans to open twenty branches in Czech regions and employ up to 150 people within one year. The first store will open on June 19th in the city of Třebíč.
The stores, ranging from 700 to 2,000 square meters, will offer up to 18,000 items. Ninety per cent of the items will be private labels.
The Woolworth chain offers clothing, household and drugstore goods, and electronics.
