European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Auchan, a retail chain, plans to hire 200 employees across Poland.
The company has declared that it will create 200 additional jobs for people with disabilities. The reason given was the importance of opening up to groups that face discrimination, prejudice and stereotypical perceptions. Auchan plans to hire people for all positions, and recruitment will be based on competence, potential and commitment.
Auchan Retail operates in 13 countries. In Poland, at the end of 2024, the chain operated 72 own and franchise hypermarkets, 52 own and franchise supermarkets, and 96 stores under the Easy Auchan brand in partnership with BP
