DPD Polska, the courier company, has opened a new logistics facility in Swędów, where it will create 350 new jobs.
The new sorting facility was set up in response to the dynamic growth of the e-commerce market; the facility specialises in handling small parcels to delivery points and parcel machines. The newly opened centre has already employed 200 people and will employ 150 more.
DPD is a Polish shipping company based in Warsaw, part of Geopost. It has been in operation for more than 30 years.
