European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Colt DCS (Data Centre Services) is a part of Colt Group Holdings. Colt DCS designs, builds and operates data centres for global hyperscalers and large enterprises. The company announced on May 14th the construction of five new data centres in France with an investment of 2.3 billions $. Colt Paris 2 is expected to employ 300 people for the construction of the site as well as 100 additional permanent jobs in the local economy.
Colt Paris 2 is the second site in France that is currently under construction in Villebon-sur-Yvette. It has been designed to meet the cooling needs of high-density AI workloads. The facility is designed to use only renewable energies and the recovered heat wast will be used to benefit the local community. The construction of the whole project with the five data centers is foreseen to 2031. These centers are designed to support the growth of digital services in France and Europe.
