Description
The Franco-Chinese company Jennyfer filed for liquidation in April 2025 and announced the abrupt elimination of 999 jobs, including 81 managers. The brand, founded in 1984, had 220 stores in France and 80 internationally, with an annual turnover of 250 million euros. It had already been placed in liquidation in June 2023 amidst sudden cost increases, rampant inflation, and international competition. The company had attempted to reinvent itself by launching Don't Call Me Jennifer, but it did not meet the expected success.
