European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
La Cure Gourmande, the French company specialized in the manufacture and distribution of biscuits, confectionery, and chocolates, has been placed under compulsory liquidation, potentially leading to 200 job cuts.
On 7 April, the Montpellier Commercial Court ordered the liquidation of La Cure Gourmande, granting a three-month continuation of operations, renewable once. During this period, parts of the La Cure Gourmande’s operations were acquired by two companies of the same sector - La Confiserie du Tech and Le Comptoir de Mathilde - preserving a total of 25 jobs.
